Vulpis Prime Business System
This project objective is to create a professional business system with a final design for a symbol that will be included in a cohesive letter head, business card, envelope, and mockups for products.
Programs Used: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator
Initial Setup
To create a symbol, I first started off with a randomizer for 2 letters and a number. The challenge here was to sketch a number of combinations for my randomized characters 5, P, and V and pick out the best combinations for this brand.
Symbol Variations
When picking a name for the brand, I wanted to think of something different and fun, so I went for Vulpis Prime, vulpis meaning “fox” in Latin. Because I envisioned a tech company, I chose “A New Breed of Power” to emphasize that this brand has a strong software that is new and competitive to the market.
Colour Combinations
I had a vision for a tech company for the combinations “VP” and colours were an important aspect. While I did not have a set theme, brand message, or a brand name, I tried to use a range of colours to see what highlights the form the best. I also added a gradient option to see how it looked like.
